Final Fantasy VI may be coming to PC after a new rating has appeared on the Pan European Game Information (PEGI) page.
The listing shows the game is suitable for ages 12 and up and, while it shows November 26, 2015 as a release date, that could merely be the date the game was rated by PEGI.
Recently, Square Enix stated that it wished to continue remaking its existing IPs. Earlier this year, Square Enix announced plans to remake Final Fantasy VII for PlayStation 4 and series director Tetsuya Nomura did express an interest in remaking Final Fantasy V and VI.
It is not clear if this new rating signifies a re-release or a remake of Final Fantasy VI, which was voted number one in IGN’s top 100 RPGs of all time.
Final Fantasy VI originally released in Japan on April 2, 1994 on Super Famicom and was renamed Final Fantasy III for its North American release on the Super Nintendo on October 11, 1994.
