The video game composer, Uematso was the one in charge of composition and arrangement of the original "Final Fantasy 7". Uematso work with majority of Final Fantasy titles such as "Final Fantasy 8", "Final Fantasy 9", "Final Fantasy 10" and "Final Fantasy 11"
Every fan of the series will be very familiar with the musical score that plays while they are playing the game. If not for the magical music, some of the best cinematic scenes during the game wouldn't have as great an effect overall, and it just wouldn't be the same.
Each Final fantasy characters have their own themes and each part of the game has a specific score that play throughout plus it is easy to recall. However, the famed composer who was responsible for many of the memorable musical pieces throughout the video game franchise and many other Square Enix games, is reportedly not going to be involved in the video game remake.
In an interview via livestream, Uematsu has said: "Not at all," when he was asked if he would be making an updated score for the "Final Fantasy 7" remake. While this may come as a disappointment to fans who were looking forward to something new from Uematsu in the game, Square Enix has assured fans that there is much more to look forward to.
According to a report done by IGN, the upcoming "Final Fantasy 7" remake is not just a remastered version of the original game. Square Enix stressed that they are taking this opportunity to attack the game in an entirely new direction. Even the company is experimenting with a new battle system in order to upgrade the original turn-based gameplay. Square Enix has also stated to add new gameplay features in the upcoming role playing game.
